We all have unique roles as a Professional Pirate. Our vision is the same however – to bring adventure back to the South Coast.
We all live on the Isle of Wight and have sailed for many years on various types of vessels. We are an experienced crew with a unique dream. And when we achieve it, we’ll have two incredible Naval Cutters for you to enjoy with us. We’d love you to join us for sailing days, weekend get-aways, corporate team building events and full on lively LARP events. Whatever your choice of experience, we are fun, friendly, professional and capable of catering for all of your needs.
We also have an extended family of professional themed characters who dress and act as real 18th Century Pirates. They are the closest living examples of some our most famous pirates; Black Sam – Samuel Bellamy, Blackbeard – Edward Teach, William ‘Captain’ Kidd, Mary Read, William Moody and Anne Bonny. Their job (and passion) is to further help us create a truly authentic storytelling that will really bring the golden age of piracy to life during your time with us.
Project manager and most organised wench
Vicki looks after the events and day to day management of our online pirate shoppe and service offerings. Give her coffee and things get done. She is the most organised of all of the Professional Pirates.
In charge of cunning plans
Loz ‘BOOM’ Hunter adds excitement to our pirate adventures and creates our LARP experiences. He also designs and produces some of our amazing pirate merchandise. Keep an eye out for our desktop Nerf Canon, soon to be available in our shoppe.
In charge of making things float
Alastair is the cleverest pirate. He has a degree as a Naval Architect of Ship Building and is mostly responsible for our ship builds. He also gets involved with the design and production of our more unusual and bespoke pirate merchandise.
Makes ‘pieces of eight’
Helen organises our team and quite frankly we all do as she says. Most importantly, she looks after our finances and makes sure we are on target to reach our fundraising milestones. The pirate that keep us on course.
